How do you add colored pencil on top of acrylic? The acrylic surface doesn’t seem to be receptive to pencils such as Prismacolor.

If you coat the area where you want to use the Prismacolor with a layer of matte medium and let it dry thoroughly you will be able to apply the colored pencil easily. When done, give the area another coat to seal it in.

Thank you. I considered that. Sometimes I just want to add some marks on top and I have resorted to other mark making tools but have quite a few Prismacolor. Enjoy your work – totally different from mine.
