Making Better Art

Each of the pages (listed in the drop down menu below “Making Better Art”) in this category is part of my long-brewing(slow-moving) book project.   My plan is to put together  a straightforward, comprehensive guide to Making Better Art. Kind of a cross between a workbook and a philosophy/theory/observations book.

So far I have several three-ring binders, a box of index cards, a pile of files on my computer, notes on my iPad, and a folder of random notations and thoughts made at various times (on planes, while waiting for an oil change, etc.). And just today I realized that this blog/web-site would be an excellent format for organizing the project and at the same time make various parts of it available to friends, students, or any other interested parties.
