Technical question if you don’t mind. You use acrylics and colored pencils much of the time. I have found that the sheen of acrylic makes a difficult surface to use colored pencils on. Do you put on some sort of glaze or ground over the acrylic to provide tooth making it easier to go over with colored pencils? Thanks.
Yes. I coat any area where I want to use colored pencils with matte medium. When it is dry, it accepts the c.p. with no problem. Then I seal in the c.p. area with more medium.
