Inuksuk Composites

Inuksuk Composites

This series was created by taking a drawing I made of an inuksuk (stacked stones), reproducing it, then cutting it apart and reassembling/collaging into new configurations. I then added additional pen and ink drawing.  Pure play. Each is matted to 8″x 10″.

I am loving my daily FreeMarks drawing session.  No goal beyond enjoying the process of making marks on the page……listening to the pencil scratch softly against the paper, watching the precision of the ink lines as they are laid down, seeing the contrast between the soft grays of the pencil and the sharp black of the ink. Very meditative.
