Arrangement #1

Sheets of thick packing cardboard have been the inspiration for a number of collages and assemblages.  While working on one of these, I decided that it would be fun to draw one of these compositions.  And it was.  I like this idea, and plan to do more drawings of my own assemblages.  Now, will I be violating the spirit of this project if I do assemblages with the thought of drawing them and then with the ultimate intent to show these sets together? The answer, I think, is to consider this weekly drawing project the inspiration/jumping off point for a new series, and keep the weekly  drawings as an exercise in pure enjoyment of the process.
